コンセプト :When he was younger, chef Yasuhiro Kuroiwa was receiving gifts and souvenirs from his uncle who was a chef working on a cruise ship named Asuka that was sailing around Europe. These gifts from abroad became a fascination for the chef and sparked his interest for both foreign food and foreign culture. Later he spent over 2 years in France learning about French cuisine notably in Paris at the two Michelin-starred, Vivarois and in Bourgogne at the single Michelin-starred Les Millesimes. When Yasuhiro Kuroiwa was on cleaning duty, one of his mentors used to call him Mr. Sympa, which can be translated to Mr. Likeable or Mister Pleasant. That is how he decided to name the restaurant.

The restaurant is a perfect mix between casual and authenticity. The meals are very reasonable and you will be able to enjoy rich portions just like in an authentic French bistro.
お勧め料理 :Lunch courses (¥¥1,760, ¥2,750, ¥3,300) and dinner courses (¥4,730, ¥5,830, ¥6,930) using seasonal ingredients are recommended. The restaurant often has gibier wild game, such as pigeon and young wild boar. Kuroiwa has curated for his diners a selection exclusively of French wine from the best wineries. It is possible to reserve the entire restaurant (minimum 12 people) using the ¥2,750 and the ¥3,300 lunch courses or the ¥5,830 and the ¥6,930 dinner courses.
