Concept :Uogushi ZEN is a Japanese restaurant near the Atago shrine specializing in fish and owned by a seafood and fish specialist. Every morning, the owner carefully selects the freshest seafood from the Tsukiji fish market to deliverthe best quality ingredients from Niigata, Toyama and Ishikawa.
Key Points :The head chef has 35 years of experience at a Japanese kappo restaurant and prepares seafood in a variety of ways; sashimi, robatayaki, boiled, spit roasted and deep fried on skewers. Entering Uogushi ZEN, you will see fresh seafood on display and chefs preparing succulent dishes right before your eyes. restaurant has three private rooms with sunken kotatsu seating for up to four, ten, or 12 guests. The room dividers can be removed to accommodate larger groups, making Uogushi ZEN perfect for any dining occasion.
Recommended Dishes :Daily recommendations change depending on the chef`s choice of ingredients, but are sure to please. Dinner courses are available for 4,000yen, 5,000yen and 6,000yen and include an appetizer, salad, assorted sashimi, spit-roasted and deep-fried skewers and rice or sushi. Kaiseki specials run from 10,000yen with an all-you-can-drink option available from 1,500yen for two hours. With an a la carte menu as well as a variety of liquor and spirits, Uogushi ZEN is a great place to enjoy fine seafood in a great atmosphere.
