Concept :Nestled under the tracks of Tokyo’s busy Tokyu Toyoko Line, Trattoria Quattro Ragazzi, since opening in December 2017, has been a one-stop shop for Italian food in its neighborhood and beyond. Using various seasonal ingredients and homemade pasta, the trattoria serves dishes native to different regions of Italy, with more than 50 types of Italian wine on offer. With wood materials defining the restaurant’s interior design, diners can feel the warmth of the wood when enjoying healthy and delicious Italian food.
Key Points :Having named his restaurant after the 4 young men dispatched from Japan to the Holy See in 1582, owner-chef Kunio Koizumi has strived to transform Ragazzi’s into a modern bridge between Japan and Italy with authentic yet reasonably priced Italian dishes and wines served by qualified sommeliers. The ambience of the restaurant, characterized by a gigantic world map wall mural, has been a point of attraction among female diners. Ample counter seating enables guests to interact with the chef, thereby offering a relaxing and interactive dining experience for everyone.
Recommended Dishes :Among the many regional dishes served at Ragazzi’s, Koizumi strongly recommends trying the house assorted appetizers (¥1780), Genovese-style seafood tagliatelle (¥1780), veal cutlets (¥2480), porchetta with mustard sauce (¥1880) and pistachio tiramisu (¥750).
