Concept :

Firenze Sake is an Italian restaurant where you can enjoy the pairing of sake and Italian cuisine made with seasonal ingredients. There are many combinations with Western food that goes well with wine, but the exquisite pairing of sake and Italian dishes gives an unforgettable experience. Sake and wine are both brewed, and there are many similarities in their flavors and ways of drinking. The harmony between Italian food and Japanese sake is impressive, such as sparkling sake for hors d’oeuvres, light-tasting ginjo sake for appetizers, flavorful junmai sake for main dishes, and yamahai jikomi sake (preparation using yamahai moto) with strong acidity for tomatoes and cheese.

Key Points :

Firenze Sake, located among many bars in a triangular area near Sangenjaya Station, is a beautiful Italian hideaway with hanging cedar balls typically seen on the eaves of traditional sake breweries.
There are blackboards with recommended sake and dishes of the day and there are counter seats in front of the open kitchen as well as tables. They offer an à la carte menu, but you can get the true value of Firenze Sake at the sake pairing course.

Recommended Dishes :

The Chef's Seasonal Dinner with Japanese sake pairing (¥12,500, food only: ¥8,000) offers 8 dishes using carefully selected seasonal ingredients, such as amuse, appetizers, hot dishes, special dishes, meat dishes, pasta, dolce and all-you-can-drink seasonal sake, including rare limited-edition sake, for two-and-a-half hours.
The Omakase Dinner course offers 7 dishes and all you-can-drink for 2 hours with sake pairing (¥11,000, food only: ¥6,500), and the Superb Dinner course, limited one group per day (with sake pairing: ¥18,500, food only ¥15,000), is also available. Although their specialty is sake, they also offer wine, beer, and shochu. Their sake selection includes unique rare and limited seasonal sake from across Japan that will impress even the most die-hard sake lovers. The menu changes every month, so diners can taste different kinds of sake and dishes over several visits. They can also arrange a message plate, ideal for birthdays and anniversaries.
Thanks to their welcoming hospitality and impeccable quality, a meal at Firenze Sake will make diners want to visit again and again.
