Concept :
Guests entering Robataya GINMASA are welcomed with counter seats surrounding a dynamic “robata” cooking fireplace. Finished in natural wood, the comfortable space allows guests to enjoy the chefs’ lively performance as they prepare dishes over the fire.Key Points :
The branches offer private rooms with sunken kotatsu seating (Ginza: 4-6 pp; Shinjuku: 4-16 pp) and tatami rooms for larger groups (Ginza: ~44: Shinjuku: ~48) that are perfect to enjoy GINMASA’s signature charcoal-grilled dishes.Recommended Dishes :
GINMASA’s signature dish is saikyo-yaki; Kyoto-style grilled cod marinated in the restaurant’s own miso. Prepared using GINMASA’s own recipe and cooking technique, the dish (full portion: ¥1,990; half: ¥1,090) is unique to GINMASA. Other recommendations include wagyu tendon and daikon stew (¥690), black wagyu steak (¥1,690) and GINMASA’s original omelet (¥590). Party menus, including all-you-can-drink, are available from ¥5,000 to ¥8,000, with the ¥6,000 plan offering appetizers, sashimi, grilled and deep-fried items, as well as a stewed dish, pressed sushi and 2 hours and half of all-you-can-drink. In addition to a variety of sake and shochu collected from around Japan, GINMASA also offers a sake tasting flight (¥1,690) to allow diners to find a favorite.
