Kurumaya is a Japanese Kappou restaurant opened in 1963 as a standing diner. When you enter the restaurant, you can forget the beehive of activity that is the city and enjoy the elegant and relaxing Japanese atmosphere. Kurumaya offers authentic Japanese cuisine beautifully presented with the freshest seasonal ingredients.Key Points :
On the first floor, they have counter seating where you can enjoy the sense of "itamae" with the chef preparing delights right before your eyes. The second floor offers up 8 private rooms for 2 to 15 people, while the third floor boasts the Grand Hall, which can accommodate 10 to 200 people, a perfect venue for a banquet or party in either Japanese style or table seating upon your request. The basement floor features Seiyo Kappo, which offers a unique French cuisine, a spacious bar and table seating with a view of a modern stone garden, for lunch (2,100 yen~) and for dinner (5,000 yen~).Recommended Dishes :
The first floor offers a mini-kaiseki lunch (3,900 yen) and the chef's dinner course including sushi and black beef teppanyaki (6,300 yen) as well as the Kurumaya dinner course (8,000 yen). The restaurant offers an excellent a la carte menu, which changes monthly, allowing diners a new experience every visit. A variety of Kaiseki and Shabu Shabu courses (10,000 - 20,000 yen) are available in the private rooms to suit any occasion.
