Concept :Tucked away among different restaurants located in the same building lies Ryuduki Sushi, a hidden gem where some of Tokyo’s freshest sushi and the finest regional sake are served. Upon entering the restaurant, one cannot help but be impressed by a horizontally erected embroidered panel behind the hinoki sushi counter with decorative woven and metal-plated designs modelled on the famous Nishijin silk textiles in Kyoto.
Key Points :Ryuduki Sushi has also successfully promoted itself as a sushi restaurant that embraces styles of traditional Japanese and modern-day fine dining, which are reflected in the row of champagne flutes on the sushi counter and the selection of sparkling, red and white wines on offer.
Recommended Dishes :In order to maximize their dining experience at Ryuduki Sushi, diners are strongly recommended to order the chef’s omakase-choice course “Hyakkaryouran” (¥10,000), which mainly comprises sashimi and various kinds of dishes using seasonal ingredients, as well as 7 kinds of nigiri sushi. Alternatively, guests can opt for one of the two sushi-kaiseki course meals (¥8,000 and ¥12,000 that include various kinds of sashimi and sushi plus seasonal dishes. All of these are best paired with any of the wide varieties of regional sake or distilled spirits (available by the glass or bottle) served at the restaurant.
