Since opening in Nakano in 2013, Meet Meats 5 Bar has expanded to Takatanobaba, Iidabashi, Jimbocho and the Akasaka Tokyu Plaza. Experts from Meet Meats 5 Bar carefully select cuts from kuroge wagyu (Japanese black beef), to offer diners meat from grade A3 to the highest grade of A5.Key Points :
The beef is grilled to succulent perfection over Japanese bincho charcoal, giving diners seared melt-in-the-mouth meat. Guests can relax and take in the heady aromas from counter seats or on sofas that are ideal for parties and gatherings for up to 40 people.

Recommendations include the Manyo wagyu premium queen’s beef (¥15.8/gram). Four kinds of shimatama; round-tip meat can be ordered in 1g increments, offering diners a chance to try different cuts. People can enjoy cheese from Karuizawa at the Akasaka location that makes for an excellent wine pairing to enjoy with various a la carte selections. There are three courses with six dishes for ¥4,500 and eight dishes for ¥5,500 and ¥6,500, as well as a popular 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The most popular course is the ¥5,500 plan that includes grilled Japanese round tip, oven-grilled beef cheek, stick vegetables, ahijo and more.
