Concept :

The first and, to date, only kosher restaurant in Japan invites you to discover a whole new culture through its traditional recipes created by Rabbi Mendi Sudakevich.

Key Points :

Opened in 2014 with the goal to make and deliver kosher food across Japan, Chana’s Place has become a place where customers from all cultures gather to discover new dishes and immerse themselves in the authentic kosher food experience at this unique restaurant.

Recommended Dishes :

Guests are welcomed by multilingual staff that are ready to offer advice and explain the history of every item they serve. Whether different types of main courses or a la carte dishes, diners can discover typical Jewish recipes such as shakshuka (eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes with various spices, ¥1500), the lox sandwich (¥1000), with its salmon brined every week by the chef, or the ubiquitous Israeli kebab (¥1000). People can also rediscover Jewish favorites like hummus (¥800), schnitzel (¥2100) and falafel (¥1000).
Chana, the owner’s wife, prepares a different dessert every day, allowing customers to enjoy a sweet surprise at the end of their meals.
