Concept :

Founded in the United States in 1968, today RED LOBSTER is America’s No. 1 seafood chain operating 720 stores around the world. Entering Japan in 1982, they have 20 branches ranging from the metropolitan area to the southern prefecture of Okinawa.

Key Points :

Specializing in "safety and security" seafood such as the eponymous lobster, oysters, shrimp and crab, their lobsters are caught in Canada are strictly monitored for health and quality before being flown directly to Narita Airport twice a week.

Recommended Dishes :

The most popular item is the Live lobster course (¥13,200/2 people) including steamed or grilled live lobster. The Ultimate Seafood Platter (¥4,389), which lets diners try different types of seafood, is one of their recommendations and raw oysters (¥539 apiece) are also a must-try. In addition to seafood, they also offer steak, paella, pasta, pizza and other delicious items. With lobster tanks and maritime decor, the restaurants have a blend of the America of the past and a seaside resort-like stylishness. Some stores offer Muslim-friendly menus. Diners are invited to enjoy the food at RED LOBSTER where they can experience the "continuation of dreams."
