Concept :

Overlooking the invigorating scene of Tokyo Dome City, Yugyoan Tankuma Kitamise is a quiet place to perch and take in the energy of this iconic locale. Here, you will find a dining experience that embodies the long-standing principles of Kyoto cuisine. These include making the best use of each ingredient and striving to bring out the fullest of the distinct and delectable flavors. Dishes are created using seasonal elements, including seafood from Akashi and Kyoto vegetables sent directly from Nishiki Market. Skilled chefs are committed to bringing culture and heritage handed down from over 1,200 years of history, with each dish and each bite.

Key Points :

Diners will be delighted by the finest flavors of authentic and traditional Kyoto-style cuisine, while enjoying the serenity of the panoramic cityscape, the spectacle of the chef’s skillful preparation and the excitement of good company. Being one of the largest Japanese restaurants in Tokyo, large groups and private gatherings are more than welcome. The interior, which occupies the entire 4th floor of the Tokyo Dome Hotel, is one of the most luxurious spaces for sophisticated dining in Tokyo. Dedicated counters are available for each type of cuisine, including teppanyaki, tempura and sushi. There is a variety of Japanese-style private rooms to choose from, including a traditional tea room.

Recommended Dishes :

Kyoto cuisine is served in kaiseki courses. Top on the list of recommended items is the Mai Course (¥16,000). Using ingredients from each of Japan’s seasons such as bamboo shoots and wild vegetables of spring; sweetfish, conger eel and kamo eggplant of summer; matsutake mushrooms, crab and chestnuts of autumn; and yellowtail, sweet sea bream and winter’s shogoin radish, diners can immerse in the flavors that nature has to offer and, at the same time, have a moment to savor the passage of time.
