Concept :

In the vibrant heart of Shinjuku, Niku Kabuku has established itself as a premier dining destination that merges culinary excellence with captivating Japanese tradition. Known for its high-end approach to yakiniku — Japanese barbecue — Niku Kabuku offers an experience that engages all the senses, turning each meal into a refined exploration of Japanese culture and flavor. The restaurant, located on the 2nd floor of a hotel, is artfully designed with deep reds, intricate motifs and softly glowing lanterns. There is also a private room for up to 10 people.

Key Points :

The world-class chef Yamamoto has been active in Japan and overseas. He studied kaiseki cuisine for 14 years and has worked as head chef in India, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Canada and Thailand. In India, he was in charge of the breakfast buffet of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. He is also the grand winner of Iron Chef Thailand.

For both locals and travelers, dining at Niku Kabuku is an exploration of Japanese culture through taste, sight and sound — a place where each bite is an invitation to savor the artistry of Japan.

Recommended Dishes :

One of the standout features at Niku Kabuku is the quality of its beef. Sourcing only the finest wagyu, the restaurant offers an impressive selection of cuts, expertly prepared and presented. Guests can enjoy fresh seafood from Toyosu and seasonal vegetables. The sides and appetizers also shine here, with traditional Japanese dishes that pair perfectly with the grilled meats. They offer an extensive wine list, Japanese sake and whiskies. Make sure not to miss the Perula caviar, kainomi, salmon roe, a special mini rice bowl packed in a can of caviar (¥2,700), the charcoal grilled A5 90g chateaubriand (¥6,000) and clay pot rice with truffle and wagyu tongue confit (¥4,200). Recommended courses are the Chef's Special Course Truffle Cutlet with Truffle Clay Pot Rice and Female Beef A5 Tenderloin (¥20,000), and they also offer Kabuku Omakase Course (¥12,000), shabu-shabu course (¥9,500), among others.
