Concept :
Located within The Kitano Hotel Tokyo, a new luxury boutique hotel perfectly positioned near Japan’s political center of Nagatacho and within easy reach of Marunouchi and Ginza, L’Orangerie Koh-an is an elegant restaurant offering French cuisine that will soothe and rejuvenate the spirit of weary travelers. Reminiscent of a glass-walled greenhouse, sunlight streams through the panoramic windows during the day, creating a light-filled, airy atmosphere, while in the evening, the soft glow of Tokyo’s vibrant lights gives the restaurant a warm and inviting ambiance.
Key Points :
Reflecting the theme "In Search of Comfort," the restaurant is a true extension of The Kitano Hotel Tokyo’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its guests. The menu focuses on French cuisine that is gentle on the body, offering a comforting respite for travelers in need of nourishment and relaxation. Flexible options are available, including non-alcoholic beverages and vegan dishes, with prior notice.Recommended Dishes :
At L'Orangerie, Iwamoto beef is expertly charcoal-grilled and sourced from Iwamoto Farm in Akaiwa in southeastern Okayama Prefecture. Known for its exquisite marbling and tender texture, this beef is raised in a mountainous region, where the cattle roam freely, resulting in rich, yet delicate, flavors. Another standout dish at L'Orangerie is the Setouchi salt lemon risotto, a specialty of executive chef Takeshi Kamo. This risotto features lemons that have been salted for over three months, allowing their flavor to mellow and develop a subtle depth. The dish is paired with Koshihikari Koshihogyoku rice from Hiroshima Prefecture, a premium, large-grain variety renowned for its sweetness and quality. In addition to its thoughtfully crafted courses, L'Orangerie offers an à la carte menu, embodying the concept of a “bistronomy” dining experience that can be tailored to suit any appetite. The restaurant has a total of 46 seats and is available for private functions. For more intimate gatherings, there are private rooms with seating for up to 8 guests, making L'Orangerie an ideal choice for business dinners or special events.
