Concept :

Oita Prefecture is well known for its excellent cuisine, including the finest seafood, top-quality beef and succulent, fresh vegetables. Zarai Oita in Tokyo’s fashionable Ginza district spares nothing in giving diners an unforgettable Oita culinary experience.

Key Points :

The restaurant takes bringing Oita to Tokyo to a pleasant extreme, with nearly every ingredient sourced from Oita, including aji and saba mackerel that is flown (weather permitting) from the prefecture daily to ensure freshness. Zarai Oita offers a variety of courses that present the very best ingredients creatively prepared. The interior, tableware and items throughout the restaurant are made in Oita. With private rooms for 3 to 16 people, counter seating for 8 and table seating for 34, Zarai Oita offers an unforgettable dining experience for any occasion.

Recommended Dishes :

Items vary seasonally, but the Hokai (7 dishes, ¥9,900), Hozan (7 dishes, ¥11,880) and Zarai (7 dishes, ¥14,520) courses include a variety of seafood, beef and vegetables. In addition to fresh seafood, the restaurant boasts A4 and A5 grade beef from the Bungo region, the birthplace of world-renowned wagyu. The dishes are perfectly complemented by Oita’s delicious vegetables, while the region’s famous kabosu citrus adds a pleasant splash of flavor to the offerings.
