Having opened its doors in April 2018, Trattoria La Grotta is an Italian restaurant on the east side of Ginza. La Grotta means cave in Italian and is fitting for the space as the interior of the shop is reminiscent of an Italian wine cellar. The chef uses only the freshest seasonal ingredients from Italy to create authentic, flavorful and delicious dishes for a reasonable price. All items are prepared in the Italian tradition and can be paired with more than 80 Italian wines.

What sets Trattoria La Grotta apart are the fresh truffles, imported weekly from Tuscany, they use in a variety of dishes. Guests can also enjoy a variety of pasta with various sauces at lunch to experience new tastes. Recommendations include the rigatoni alla carbonara (Roman-style carbonara rigatoni, ¥1,580) available with truffle toppings (from ¥500 depending on the season). The lunch course includes an appetizer buffet, bread, pasta or risotto or a meat dish and coffee (¥1,380).
