コンセプト :

Located just a 10-minute train ride from bustling Shinjuku, lumielune is a hidden gem tucked away on the corner of a main street in Tokyo’s vintage shopping district of Shimokitazawa. Established by Sommelier Ryosuke Anno and Chef Yoshinao Kihara in 2014, the bistro-cum-wine bar has been a popular spot among locals for serving, among other things, natural wines imported from France and Australia.

キーポイント :

With dark polished wood and brick walls defining the theme of the bistro’s interior, diners, upon entering the establishment, will instantly feel enveloped in total calmness and serenity. The wide upholstered dining bench, adorned with decorative wine bottles behind it, blends in well with the vintage pendant lamps and antique mirrors to create the perfect ambience for a relaxing, casual dining experience.

お勧め料理 :

With 800 varieties of natural wines and 30 kinds of seasonal, steamed vegetables on offer, lumielune prides itself on serving some of the finest vegetable and meat-based dishes in town. Diners are highly recommended to start with the charcuterie board, which comes with several cold cuts, including iberico chorizo, pork rillettes and paté de campagne (¥1,200). For meat lovers, the house roasted rack of lamb with marinated eggplant, mustard and thyme jus (¥2,900) and the shorthorn wagyu cube roll steak frites (¥3,600) are two popular dishes available all year round.
