Established in 1871, this restaurant has earned a big reputation serving the highest grade, famous Matsusaka beef. Having their own farm, where they raise and prepare purebred cattle, allows Kakiyasu to provide only the finest ingredients with the utmost regard for quality products of the highest standards. Their char-grilled Matsusaka beef is so soft and tender that it can be cut with chopsticks before melting in diners’ mouths. The sukiyaki sauce was created by the restaurant founder and has remained unchanged since. Kakiyasu boasts an excellent selection of wines that complement the meat dishes perfectly. The atmosphere at Kakiyasu is traditional Japanese with skilled staff dressed in kimono available to serve diners in style and private rooms are available to seat between two and twenty people. The restaurant offers an excellent sukiyaki course with Matsusaka beef for 12,600 or a Char-grilled course with a Matsusaka beef filet for 15,750. Additionally, you can enjoy the fine taste of shabu-shabu at the restaurant.
