Located in Ginza, KOKORO offers diners the unique experience of eating Kobe beef prepared in a furnace oven. The meat is gently baked above of a bed of smoldering binchotan charcoal, resulting in a steak that is perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside.

KOKORO serves the finest-quality Kobe beef in five different cuts: sirloin, filet, tender loin, rump and aitchbone. Guests will especially enjoy being able to taste and compare all of the different varieties with the other members of their party. This calm and atmospheric restaurant offers 3 private rooms (2-12p) with an increased sense of privacy with only the area in front of the diners is illuminated. Counter seats are where guests can watch one of KOKORO’s seasoned chefs expertly grilling world-class beef to perfection.

Two types of courses are offered at this establishment: a short course (¥13,800~) and a full course (¥22,000~). The course menus change along with the seasons, guaranteeing that every guest will able to indulge in the freshest and highest-quality ingredients ranging from caviar to foie gras to sea urchin. Over 200 bottles of wine are always on hand, with a wide range of options including both familiar wines, as well as the rare and luxurious. Bordeaux, Burgundy, California vintages are among the wines represented.
