YAKITORI SHIMAYA is a yakitori izakaya, or Japanese pub, that serves dishes prepared with select ingredients such as fresh chicken and organic vegetables mostly from the Mie in Kishu. Their specialty is elaborate yakitori of created with “Kumano jidori” chicken that is grilled to perfection on kishu binchotan charcoal made from Ubame oak.Key Points :

Counter seats, table seats, as well as three private rooms up to 16 people are sure to suit any dining needs. Guests can order single skewers of 30 different foods, allowing them to indulge in their favorites. The Kumano jidori set (¥2,200) which includes 5 skewers of yakitori is highly recommended. They offer a Yakitori course (¥3,500), which is a short course including an appetizer, salad, 5 skeweres of yakitori and more. Additionally, there is a variety of a la carte sections and 7 to 10 kinds of sake from Mie that go well with Yakitori.
