Concept :Viva Goa was established in 2014 in Harajuku with the goal to introduce and popularize authentic Goan cuisine for the first time in Japan. Goa is a coastal state in southwestern India’s Konkan region. Because of its location, the specialty of Goan cuisine is seafood and flavorful curries made from coconut, coriander and spices. Viva Goa offers a unique fusion of Goan cuisine and North Indian delicacies.
Key Points :Diners should not miss the popular signature Goan fish curry (¥1,350) that is a mix of spices and coconut boiled with prawns or slices of fish. Regarding northern delicacies, the restaurant serves a wide variety of vegetarian curries, as well as a wide selection of chicken starters. Different platters can be ordered to sample a selection of the most popular items on a single plate. Staff can recommend wines and other alcohol from India, Europe and Chile that can be enjoyed by the bottle or glass. Recommended Dishes :Lunch sets start from ¥900 and diners can select the popular Goan Thali set (¥1,250~), which includes the Goan prawn curry and two other curries with light gravy topped with their signature fish tava fry. For dinner, guests can choose from various curries (¥1,200~), North Indian and Goan snacks (¥800~).
