Concept :Viva Goa Indian Cafe was established in Sep. 2014 in Harajuku to introduce and popularize authentic Goan Cuisine for the first time in Japan. Besides achieving this goal, Viva Goa has created a unique fusion of Goan and North Indian cuisine. Goa being a coastal state in India`s southwestern Konkan region, seafood and flavorful curries made from coconut and coriander are its specialty.
Key Points :The restaurant offers an a la carte menu with halal and vegan options. Viva Goa has also successfully partnered with Ubereats and Chompy to offer delivery. Viva Goa is committed to provide a fine dining experience for guests to enjoy the cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Recommended Dishes :Diners are recommended the popular Goan fish curry (¥1350) where prawns or slices of fish are sautéed in a gravy of coconut milk, herbs and spices. The restaurant also serves a wide variety of vegetarian curries and appetizers. Different platters can be ordered to sample a selection of the most popular tandoor starters. Drinks include alcohol from India and wine from Europe and Chile served by the bottle or glass. Lunch sets start from ¥900 and diners can select the popular Goan Thali (¥1,250~), which includes the Goan prawn curry, two other light curries and signature fish tava fry. For dinner, guests can choose from various curries (¥1,200~), North Indian and Goan snacks (¥800~).
