Concept :

First opened in Harajuku in Sept. 2014, Viva Goa Indian Cafe has since successfully introduced authentic Goan Cuisine to Japan. Cuisine of Goa originated from its Konkan roots and was influenced by 451 years of Portuguese rule. Goa is a coastal state in India`s southwestern Konkan region. Goan cuisine is mostly seafood-based and rice and fish are staples.
Viva Goa has created a unique fusion of Goan and north Indian cuisine.

Key Points :

Recommended include the popular Goan fish curry (¥1,350), where prawns or king fish (sawara) are sautéed in a coconut-based gravy blended with herbs and spices. A variety of vegetarian curries and popular appetizers can be sampled by ordering Tandoor platters.
Drinks include Indian alcohol and wine by the bottle or glass from Europe and Chile.

Recommended Dishes :

Lunch sets start from ¥900 and diners can select the popular Goan Thali (¥1,350~), which includes Goan prawn curry, two other curries and signature fish tava fry. For dinner, guests may choose from various curries (¥1,200~), north Indian & Goan snacks (¥800~) and an a la carte menu of halal and vegan options. Delivery is available via Ubereats, Chompy and Food Panda. Viva Goa is committed to providing a fine dining experience for guests to enjoy delicious cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment.
