Concept :
Toritomo is a yakitori restaurant offering chicken specially raised on their own farm. The restaurant is operated by the Tosaka team that first enjoyed success with their high-quality grill restaurant in Azabu, followed by an outlet specializing in chicken in Akasaka. Toritomo uses the entire chicken in their dishes, offering rare cuts and organs grilled to perfection.The chef helps in the breeding of the chickens and has an intimate knowledge of the ingredients and rearing process.Key Points :
Staff personally visits vegetable farms in search of the very best they can offer. The interior of the restaurant is modern and stylish, with the grill stand reminiscent of and Edo-period stage, with chairs arranged so the "audience" can enjoy watching the energetic chefs work. Individual yakitori skewers start at JPY160 and chicken sashimi is available from JPY1,300. Other popular items include chicken skin flavored with ponzu (JPY500) and ramen topped with stewed chicken (JPY650).
