Concept :Enter nostalgia as Tokitarazu beckons you to the days when the passage of time seemed slower. The aesthetic sensibility embedded within the Japanese culture can be felt in the ambiance, hospitality and, of course, food. Specializing in traditional Japanese cuisine, this restaurant upholds tradition by using only the finest seasonal ingredients while creating something all new at the same time.
Key Points :Outside the restaurant, traditional sake barrels are arranged in front of a pristine bamboo façade, while inside there are counter seats, table seats and one private room for up to 8 guests. Just one evening at Tokitarazu is hardly enough time to enjoy all that it has to offer. For the seasoned diner who accepts nothing less than complete satisfaction from their dining, to the tourist looking to experience one of the fundamental elements of Japanese culture, Tokitarazu is a must-go destination.
Recommended Dishes :They specialize in the freshest fish dishes (¥1,200~) and carefully prepared Kaiseki-style tidbits (¥680~). The Sankai Hojun course (¥4,500~) is highly recommended and includes their specialty seasonal sashimi plate, simmered dish (or deep-fried dish), grilled dish and more. Also recommended is their Sankai Hojun hot pot course (¥7,500), which is only offered in fall and winter. They have a variety of alcoholic beverages, including selected sake from all over Japan, shochu and Japanese wine.
