Concept :

Stop the Season in the Sun is a dining and music lounge located on a back street just near Harajuku station, with the concept of “more than an izakaya but less than a night club.” It opened in July 2023 by Harajuku-based design group terminal inc in collaboration with advertising and editing production company TRICLE.LLC.

It is a place where you can meet new people, see new things and have new experiences, along with a variety of dishes using spices and herbs in a space that evokes a world view where diverse genres and cultures mix together.

Key Points :

Upon entering, you'll find a tropical green-toned bar counter with a DJ booth and SOUNDSTAND's signature speakers. There is counter seating and a standing space like a club dance hall. On weekends, various DJs select music each day. At the back of the hall, there is a lounge with a relaxed atmosphere lined with sofas (lounge table charge: ¥1,000), creating the perfect space for private parties and events.

Recommended Dishes :

Recommended is the 7 kinds of tacos (¥590) made with carefully selected sauces and ingredients. The tortillas are made fresh every day and have a chewy texture, and there are a variety of flavors available, including jerk pork tacos, spicy chicken tacos, and Latin chili shrimp tacos. There is a wide range of menu items, from snacks such as spicy mucho style fries (¥590) and grilled cheese nachos with vegan chili con carne (¥790), to main dishes such as roast lamb (¥1,980) and beef mushroom fajitas (¥2,690), as well as rice dishes such as cheese curry rice gratin (¥1,290).

They stock more than 50 kinds of rare natural wines including whites, reds, rosés, amber and sparkling. They also serve craft beers from all over Japan, beautiful origi-nal cocktails, Latin sours made with homemade syrup, colorless white cola with a little spice and ginger ale with a strong ginger aroma and flavor.

Enjoy your time as you like, sipping original cocktails and listening to soothing music selected with a “Sexy meets Urban” theme, or enjoying spicy food and chatting with friends in the lounge.
