The welcome guests receive upon walking into Shirogane Baru is reputed to be one of the best in Tokyo. Diners are made to feel completely at ease, leaving them free to forget they are in the middle of Tokyo and sit back and enjoy the authentic Spanish experience on offer. The color scheme of the interior is bright and breezy, giving the place a modern touch that successfully fuses Japanese minimalism and Spanish flair. Shirogane Baru serves mouthwatering tapas, small dishes that can be enjoyed on all sorts of occasions with a decent glass of wine. Each tapas dish is prepared in front of you at the counter, with the chef using only the freshest ingredients. The a la carte menu features popular Spanish treats such as Iberico Pork (1,580 for a small serving), Paella (1,980), Spanish Tortilla (630), charcoal-grilled delights (320~) and the unmatched Gambas Salteadas (630). Shirogane Baru is very proud of its vast selection of Spanish wines. The wine list includes approximately 60 Spanish wines from all areas of Spain, with prices starting from around 2,940 a bottle. More than 40 different varieties of sherry are available, while manzarilla by the glass is also a possibility (580~). Private rooms are also available.
