Concept :
Piacere means “with pleasure” in Italian, thus it is the perfect word to describe this restaurant that pays homage to the classic “La Dolce Vita” lifestyle of old through bold interior design, floor-to-ceiling windows and a rainbow of Mediterranean colors. Entering the space diners are met with a view of the Sommelier Suite, a dramatic wine library clad in golden Portoro Marble, and in the main dining area visitors can easily look out over the Tokyo skyline. The rest of the restaurant’s interior is accented by grey travertine flooring, low-lying banquettes, intricate lattice holding screens, Venetian-style mirrors and Murano glass Chandeliers. The head chef Paolo Pelosi previously worked at a Michelin star-ranked establishment, a testament to his ability to create contemporary, authentic Italian cuisine. Recommended menu items include a combination of lunch and dinner courses, a la carte listings complimented by fine wines from around the world, Dinner Course (10,000), Vegetarian Course (6,700). Piacere is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Tokyo Station, Yaesu Exit.
