Neboke, with five branches in Tokyo, is a well-established Japanese restaurant with a history dating back 100 years. Kochi Prefecture is blessed with both mountains and the ocean, which offer a treasure trove of ingredients. Using fresh ingredients delivered from Kochi, Neboke offers Japanese fare, along with Kochi’s local cuisine. Diners can enjoy charcoal-grilled seared bonito, sawachi cuisine, the highest-grade Japanese black beef shabu-shabu, kaiseki cuisine, and the best natural Kue-nabe (grouper hot pot).

Key Points :

The restaurants are decorated in a traditional Japanese style and have an authentic atmosphere of classic Japan. All Neboke branches have variety of private rooms available with table seating and sunken kotatsu seating for small groups to 40 people, making it ideal for business meetings and gatherings. Neboke’s chefs will dazzle you with their skills and our staff will welcome you with hospitality that has been our tradition since our founding in 1917.

Recommended Dishes :

Neboke’s signature dish is seared bonito (¥1,500); charcoal-grilled and served with yuzu ponzu. They use only bonito caught in an ecologically friendly way through line fishing. The skin is crispy and has a good flavor, while the inside has light delicious texture. Naboke also offer sashimi, seasonal tempura and traditional grilled mackerel sushi.
Another favorite is the sawachi plate (¥7,000), a large platter with a variety of delicious and beautifully presented items from land and sea. The sawachi course includes the platter and the signature bonito from ¥8,000, while the seasonal kaiseki course starts at ¥6,600 and the Tosa wagyu shabu-shabu course is ¥7,150.
The lunch menu offers seared bonito at a reasonable price. Neboko has an extensive drink menu, including famous sake from Kochi.
