Concept :

MUS MUS offers simple dishes prepared with safe and fresh organic ingredients from independent farmers throughout the nation. The name of this restaurant is after two words “musu” (steam in Japanese) as steamed dishes are their signature and “musubu” (bond in Japanese) so that they hope to connect producers and diners through food.

Key Points :

Their steamed dishes are very popular among the health-conscious and vegetarians. Not only do they use organic vegetables, they also use selected meat and seafood delivered directly from individual producers that is perfectly seasoned.

Recommended Dishes :

Their signature dishes are steamed seasonal farm-to-table vegetables (¥1,705) and steamed pork with Japanese pepper with salad (Half: ¥1078, Full: ¥1,815). Vegetarian and gluten-free items are clearly marked on the grand menu, making things simple for diners. Their casual party course (¥3,300) includes 7 of Mus Mus’ standard dishes such as steamed organic seasonal vegetables, fried oysters, steamed pork with Japanese pepper, while the standard party course (¥4,400) includes 8 dishes such as a-year-aged prosciutto salad, chicken dish, dobin mushi (steamed soup in a teapot). They also offer gorgeous party course which includes 11 dishes such as roast Toman wagyu beef, salted and dried sardines and rice cooked in a Japanese clay pot. For vegetarians, they offer a vegetable party course (¥3,850). All-you-can-drink options are available for all courses for an additional ¥2,200. For ¥1,100 more, the popular sake Dassai will be included. There is one semi-private room for 8-16 people. Sake, shochu and wine are also sourced from all over Japan and 3 kinds of sake flights (¥1,760) are also available. Even during late hours, guests still can order dishes from the grand menu. Lunch ranges from ¥1,000 to ¥1,850. Please enjoy carefully selected organic dishes that you won’t find elsewhere.
