Concept :
All of Mizutaki Genkai`s chicken come from poultry farms where the birds are allowed to graze freely in fresh air and with clean water. The chickens used in the restaurant all have a rich flavor, are nutritious and have the texture of poultry raised in the healthiest of conditions. Genkai`s Mizutaki have maintained an excellent reputation since the restaurant`s foundation in 1928.Key Points :
The restaurant is famed for "Mizutaki," a Chicken Stew Pot in which chickens are boiled for more than five hours. To get a full flavor, the broth and chicken is cooked slowly, leading to a rich taste and including plenty of collagen, which is good for the skin. This comfortable restaurant is built in the style of a tea-ceremony house. Genkai has 14 Japanese style private rooms, the smallest of which is suitable for 2 people, while the largest can seat up to 200. It`s also possible to eat at sunken kotatsu tables and in rooms that have gardens.Recommended Dishes :
Recommended meals include the Mizutaki dinner course menu (from 8,400 yen; lunch 5,250 yen, including tax and service charge).- Address:
