Concept :

Vienna has long been host to elegant cafes and coffee shops where the movers and shakers of society would meet and discuss everything from art to politics. Cafe Landtmann was established by Franz Landtmann in 1873, and though it changed ownership to the Querfeld family in 1976, it is still considered one of the most fashionable cafes in Vienna. Luckily for Tokyo residents, you can experience the elegance and sophistication of this Viennese cafe here in Tokyo’s trendy Aoyama area. The Tokyo branch is a careful and authentic reproduction of the Viennese original. The large outdoor terrace affords beautiful views of Tokyo and is the perfect place to sample some of Vienna’s renowned cuisine, coffee, and cakes. Whether you’d like to have a full meal, one of their sumptuous cakes, or a superbly brewed coffee, Cafe Landtmann offers a refreshing break from shopping in Omotesando. Recommended dishes include the Wiener Schnitzel (fried veal escalope with cassis jam, 2,000), Goulash soup with chili aroma served with bread (700), Sachertorte (Austrian chocolate cake, 650), Einspanner (Coffee topped with whipped cream, 850), and Gosser Austrian beer (800).
