コンセプト :

Salt offers a diverse and creative array of contemporary Australian cuisine by master chef Luke Mangan. The chef achieves distinctive flavors by incorporating the techniques and essences of various culinary traditions from around the world. Luke’s career started in Melbourne under the tutelage of the great Herman Schneider, of the “Two Faces,” trained under three star Michelin Chef Michel Roux in London, and rose to fame in Sydney after opening Salt in Darlinghurst in 1999, and Bistro Lulu in 2000. He has since opened the Glass Brasserie at Hilton Sydney, produced dinners for the crown prince of Denmark, Australian actress Nicole Kidman and former US President Bill Clinton, and worked as a consultant for Virgin Airline’s in-flight menus. The lunch menu (3,500, 5,000), dinner Degustations (7,500, 12,000) and a la carte menus are worth special mention and offer culinary creations such as Roasted Australian Lamb Rack 300g with Tasmanian mustard (3,800) and the cutting-edge Licorice Parfait (800). Salt also offer a choice of two private rooms including the accommodating 14 seat room (min 100,000) to the exclusive 4 seat room (min 36,000) and you can order any of the over 300 different bins of Australian wine available in the restaurant’s wine cellar.
