コンセプト :C. T Kitchen Kame is a casual French eatery and drinking spot a stone’s throw from Nakameguro station that specializes in hotpot cookery. With a calm and relaxed atmosphere, the wood walls add a warm glow to the dining room, while the jazz and funk add the mood. The food is cooked in, and served directly from, small pots from which diners can help themselves. Prices range from ¥1,500 to ¥1,800 and dishes include acqua pizza, bouillabaisse and seasonal seafood steamed in white wine. Pasta or risotto can be added to the remaining sauce at the end of the meal for an additional ¥600 or ¥800, respectively. Vegetables are sourced directly from farms in Ibaraki, Niigata and Mie prefectures, while fish is caught and brought in by the owner or his friends at least once a week. Meats include duck, rabbit and lamb and delicacies such as wild boar sometimes find their way on the menu during hunting season. Recommended appetizers include the margarita pizza roll (¥1,000), lamb and potato stew with a salty-sweet sauce (¥1,000), couscous ratatouille with soft-boiled eggs (¥580) and the 20-item, organic salad (¥900). Drinks include a variety of sake, Japanese wine, cocktails and more and all-you-can-drink courses are available.
