Sasaya's seamless harmony between modern and traditional - straight from the Meiji Period - Japanese architecture offers a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone. Although they are close to the world-famous Tsukiji fish market, Sasaya is proud to bring together the freshest and finest cuts of meat from across the country. Inspired by the ways of the Meiji Period, Sasaya continues that tradition, preparing sukiyaki using thick cubed steak and sweet miso. Bringing together staples from bygone days with the freshest ingredients from today, Sasaya offers courses where meat takes center stage. Featuring Tokyo's first and only in-house, open-air garden, guests can enjoy the view from a traditional tatami mat room or contemporary couches from any of the restaurant's three floors. Sasaya has three private rooms that can accommodate four to six people each, while the entire restaurant can handle up to 70 people. Recommendations include the Niku Kappo Course (¥7,800), while a la carte items include Meiji-style sukiyaki (¥1,800 per person for two or more people), slow-cooked charcoal roasted steak (¥1,100/100g) and horse sashimi (¥1,500). Wagyu can be substituted in any course for ¥1,000. 5 minutes from Tsukiji station, exit 4, 2 minutes from Shintomicho station, exit 4. Logo for Sasaya- Address:
