Concept :

Nihon Sengyo Kokakurui Dokokai (sengyo=seafood, kokakurui=crustacean, dokokai=club) is a unique izakaya offering fresh, catch-of-the-day seafood delivered directly from ports across the country in an atmosphere reminiscent of a lively fish market.

Key Points :

Fish brokers purchase seafood from fisherman all over Japan and deliver it straight to the restaurant, ensuring the freshness and flavor is of the highest caliber. This allows them to offer delicious seafood dishes at reasonable prices such as Japan Food Selection gold prize-awarded crab, fish from Rausu, Hokkaido, Kirishima chicken from Miyazaki, Sasuke pork from Iwate and Onuma beef from Hakodate.

Recommended Dishes :

Recommendations include the thick-cut red king crab sashimi (JPY1,499), catch-of-the-day sashimi (JPY1,999) and a 1 lb Onuma sirloin steak (JPY3,999). The restaurant also boasts Japanese favorites such as yakitori (JPY499~), sushi (JPY599~) and sukiyaki (JPY2,999 pp). There are 25 kinds of sake from across Japan, as well as wine, shochu and fruit liquors. Course menus are reasonable and include crab shabu shabu for JPY3,500 and the red king crab and wagyu sukiyaki course for JPY4,500 with all-you-can-drink options from JPY1,500 for two hours. With room for 120 people over three floors.
