Concept :Kyoto Hyoki is an elegant and traditional Japanese establishment with impeccable service and exquisite original recipes. The restaurant boasts only private rooms, all finished in traditional design and decor, making it perfect for business dinner and private events. The Ginza branch has the largest private rooms, capable of seating up to 70, while the branches in Akasaka, Nishiazabu and Yaesu have rooms for up to 48.
Key Points :The chefs at Kyoto Hyoki are more than happy to adjust the menu to match diners' tastes or preferences and will work to accommodate those with allergies. The house specialty is "dashi-shabu," an innovative way to enjoy shabushabu, or boiling meat and vegetables in a hot pot. Using dashi as a dipping sauce, dashi-shabu offers diners a completely new taste.
Recommended Dishes :Created in 2004, Hyoki introduced boiling thinly sliced pork and vegetables and dipping it in the house dashi. The new take quickly became famous in Kyoto and as its reputation spread, the dish became the house specialty. Hyoki also offers a large selection of wine and Japanese spirits to go with the food. The dashishabu course starts at 5,000 yen and other courses include the Omi-beef shabu-shabu courses from 5,500 yen and kaiseki courses from 5,000 yen.
