コンセプト :
Casual Champagne Dining – Le Coeur, meaning the heart in French, is aiming to introduce the idea of casual Champagne dining to Tokyo. Diners can enjoy a comfortable and friendly bistro setting where they can sip high-quality Champagne by the glass paired with delicious French cuisine at reasonable prices. Fluent in English, owner/sommelier, Madoka Ogiya, is also an importer of wine and “first cuvee,” or the highest level of Champagne. The carefully selected and diverse wine list is a product of Ogiya’s extensive knowledge and experience, including a recently acquired taste for cuisine-friendly Australian wines. The chef speaks French and trained with Patrick Michelon in Champagne, France, giving him the perfect skills to create dishes that go well with Champagne. Glasses of Champagne start at 850 yen, while wine starts at 750 yen. The chef’s signature dish is hashed beef (1,500 yen) and is available on weekends. The restaurant’s “Thank You” set is available for 3,900 yen and includes a choice of appetizer, a fish or meat main, hashed beef and dessert. Le Coeur is great for enjoying a glass of bubbly after work in a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere. For a more upscale experience, sister champagne bar, La Chandelle, is also nearby.
